Where Chayan's jobs come from: 600+ company career pages.

Chayan collects jobs straight from the career pages of over 600 companies, and from LinkedIn, then ranks them against your resume. About 70% of the active jobs come directly from a company's own career page.

The short answer

Most job boards show you what employers have posted to them. Chayan goes to the employer's own careers site instead. We keep a list of companies hiring in India, find the hiring system each one uses, and collect its open roles on a regular schedule. We also collect from LinkedIn. Every role then gets read and compared against your resume, so you see the ones that fit you first.

That is about 6,200 active jobs from company career pages. LinkedIn adds about 2,100 more. These figures change every day as companies post and close roles.

What a "hiring system" is

Most companies do not build their own careers site. They use a hiring system such as Workday or Greenhouse, and the jobs on their careers page come from it. Each system exposes its listings in its own way, so Chayan has a separate collector for each one. That is why the table above is split the way it is.

Why go to the source

It is the original posting. Job boards usually repost or aggregate roles that employers publish on their own site.
The listing is closer to the truth. The careers page shows what the company itself says the role needs, and when the role closes it comes down.
Some roles are hard to find elsewhere. Smaller companies and capability centres in India often list openings only on their own page.

What Chayan does not cover

It is focused on tech roles in India: software, data and AI, DevOps and cloud, QA, security and product.
It does not cover every company. A company only appears once we have found and verified its careers board.
It does not apply to jobs for you. You decide where to apply.
Chayan is currently opening to a waitlist in small groups, so not everyone has access yet.
